Hi,
I looked at the six photo's of live steaming
festival on your site below.
Wow a lot of people. What is the estimation
for the number of people who attended?
What was being sold on the one sales stand?
Who does all the track belong to? How long
was the track? How many days did
it take to lay the track?
Really amazing. I sent the links to live
steam friends all over the world.
I will come for sure if you hold the festival
again, I should have come
this time :) Unfortunately I do not have
a 5" gage loco to bring.
Maybe I can borrow one from my friends in
Canada.
Below is the e-mail I sent to live steaming
friends and groups in
England,Canada,USA (East and West) and Australia
(East and West)

I have received the link below showing photo's
of this weekends Live
Steam Festival in Japan.
Ignore all the text and any comments your
browser might make about not
supporting Japanese text and scroll down
to the second photo on the page
and double click on it. Six more photo's
will appear.
Above these six photos is some blue type
(hypertext) click on this and
it will take you at least 8 more photo's
including a couple showing the
track running down the main street!
At least 50 loco's took part, as far
as I know all 3.5" scale, 5" gage,
coal fired.
In addition to hauling the public they also
had three competitions.
Efficiency, distance and schedule timing.

I have already received replies from Australia
and the USA. Everybody is
amazed at the amount of track running down
the main street.
Now I REALLY wish I'd come.
